Custom Computers
We are frequently asked to build custom computers for specific applications. Here are a couple recent builds with brief explanations:
This machine was built for a local mobile video company that duplicates DVD's to give to its customers when their work is finished. We installed the latest Intel processor along with a high end graphics card to match their existing computers. At the same time we addressed an issue with slow DVD duplication times and installed 24X DVD burners on a separate PCIe hub which reduced their burn times. The core operating system is Microsoft Windows Vista (at the customer's request).

The following machine looks pretty straight forward on the outside; however, on the inside it is crazy. This machine is being used by a local resident to play movies and music at his house and is the core of his entertainment system. We installed a six core AMD Phenom II with 8GB DDR3. We also put in two moderately high end graphics cards - connected together (also called SLI) - to offer optimal performance both now and in the future. Both cards offer HDMI output to connect to 1080p high definition televisions. Hard drive size is 1TB with plans to add another terabyte drive in the near future. Not only does this machine have a DVD burner, but we also installed a Blu-Ray player. Not pictured is a Media Center remote control so the computer can be used from across the room with only a remote. Windows 7, which we custom configured, is the operating system used on this bad boy. Price? You don't want to know.
